Head Barista

• Prepare and serve a variety of espressobased beverages, teas, sodas, and other specialty drinks with precision and consistency.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process customer orders, handle payments, and issue receipts.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly and maintain a balanced cash drawer at all times.
• Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers, addressing their inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of baked goods, ensuring they are fresh and appealing for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Perform opening and closing duties as required, ensuring the mobile coffee shop is ready for operation and securely closed at the end of the day.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations, especially during busy periods.
• Continuously uphold our brand standards and contribute to the overall ambiance of the coffee shop.
• Remain knowledgeable about our coffee and beverage offerings to provide recommendations to customers.
• Adapt to varying customer preferences and requirements, including accommodating dietary restrictions.

• FoodSafe level 1, or able to obtain it prior to starting
• Barista experience, knowledge of the Nuova Simonelli machine an asset
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage and connect with a diverse range of customers.
• Flexibility in scheduling, including the ability to work early mornings and adapt to changing shifts.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Management experience an asset
