Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Rutherford International Full time

Role Overview: Please note changes as of April 15th

Do You Have The Potential to Become a High-Performing HR Professional?

We have refocused this position to handle coordination tasks during its inaugural year. The company has opted to collaborate with an external human resources consultancy for the next year to establish effective systems and best practices for managing HR tasks across three divisions, totalling approximately 100 employees. Initially addressing ZEN's growth requirements, the role now encompasses two additional entities, leading management to enlist a reputable HR Consultant to integrate the new divisions seamlessly. This internal role reports directly to the CEO but will work closely with the external consultancy. As the HR Manager in the first year, your duties will include:

  • Coordinating and implementing policies.
  • Overseeing talent acquisition.
  • Managing onboarding processes.
  • Facilitating payroll and benefits.
  • Making policy recommendations and modifications.

This position is suited for a new professional who values independence. It offers access to external mentoring support and a CEO who prioritizes HR matters. The one-year strategy details the Human Resources Manager's progression towards departmental leadership. The targeted base salary compensation is $65,000.00 plus benefits and STIP. The ideal candidate for this role is a capable mid-level HR professional.

Candidates are selected based on their behavioural competencies relative to high-achieving HR professionals. Rather than solely valuing experience, we will emphasize your capacity to surpass your colleagues' average performance levels. If you cannot, human resources isn't your best career fit. No one should pursue a career where being average is the likeliest outcome. Welcome to the domain of behavioural analytics.
