Job Background/context

The position is based in Mississauga, Canada and is required to develop rich and responsive web UI and will perform functional and non-functional testing, bug fixes & enhancements in the project and will work with the global stake holders (business and technology) across multiple locations

Applies skills and knowledge of the tools to develop creative solutions to meet client and business needs

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for backend implementation using Java technologies
and integration with front-end

Should visualize the product from end client perspective and come up with best possible UI suggestions and develop utilities to reduce business turnaround time

Acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts

Directly impacts the business by ensuring the quality of work provided by self and others; impacts own team and closely related work teams

Requirement understanding, technical design

Work proactively & independently to address project requirements, and articulate issues/challenges with enough lead time to address project delivery risks

Providing expertise in technical analysis and solving technical issues during project delivery

Involvement in Software Development Lifecycle

Skills

Developer should have 6+ yrs. of hands-on experience in below listed technology stacks in financial services organization.

Experience in rich UI development using existing/latest web technologies

Experience on server-side development using Java technologies

6+ years of experience in Core Java, Java Collection, Java Concurrency and building thread safe code

:

5+ years of experience in UI framework Angular

:

Extensive experience in Java 8, Angular 8, HTML5 / DHTML, CSS3, JSON, Bootstrap, Spring Boot, Micro Services (RESTful), jUnit

5+ years of experience with Jenkins, TeamCity, GIT, Bitbucket etc

Experience with containerization related management stacks like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, ECS

Hands on experience with relational database Oracle

- 5+ years of experience in messaging products like Tibco, Kafka, MQ**:


  • Experience in Team Foundation Server / ALM

Expertise in using Unit testing tools such as MS Test/Jasmine/Karma or Mocha
