Great Northern Oral Surgery is a fast-paced oral and maxillofacial surgery office located in Sault Ste. Marie. We are committed to providing exceptional care in a positive environment for patients and staff alike. This opportunity is a full-time permanent position with our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of medications and equipment for surgical procedures Review of medical history and patient assessment IV start and administration of medications Patient monitoring during sedation Post-operative recovery, education and discharge Patient care calls Medication and equipment inventory/orderingQualifications:
Must be a registered nurse (RN) currently registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario OR a respiratory therapist (RT) currently registered with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario ACLS and PALS training considered an asset Experience in a setting where anesthesia is administered is considered an assetSkills and Abilities:
