The Equity Committee of the Faculty of Law is recruiting a research assistant to support an initiative taking stock of the Committee's past recommendations and their implemention. The research assistant is expected to collect relevant documents; to analyze and compare the documents in an accessible format; to asses implementation of past recommendations, as is possible; and to help develop a consultation plan for the Equity Committee to assess implementation of past recommendations. The research assistant will work under the direction of the Equity Committee, notably Professor Riley Case and Professor Poirier.

Qualifications Required
_:_ This post is open to McGill Law students only. Bilingualism. Experience creating tables in Word and flowcharts. A commitment to addressing systemic inequities affecting Indigenous, Black, racialized, disabled, 2SLGBTQ+, and other historically marginalized communities. Ideally, experience with equity work in an educational or other institutional setting (for example an equity or other relevant committee).

L'assistant(e) de recherche devra collecter les documents pertinents, analyser et comparer les documents dans un format accessible, évaluer la mise en œuvre des recommandations passées, dans la mesure du possible, et aider à développer un plan de consultation pour le Comité d'équité afin d'évaluer la mise en œuvre des recommandations passées. Qualifications requises : Ce poste est réservé aux étudiants en droit de McGill. Bilinguisme. Expérience dans la création de tableaux en Word et d'organigrammes. Engagement à s'attaquer aux iniquités systémiques qui affectent les communautés autochtones, noires, racialisées, handicapées, 2SLGBTQ+ et autres communautés historiquement marginalisées.
