  • Actively engages in liaison activities with intelligence communities, Law Enforcement, Industry Associations, peer institutions, and information sharing communities.
  • Triage information received from vendors and manages that information through internal workflows; previous experience in intelligence writing and briefing to varying audience levels

About This Role


The role will directly support operations by consuming and analyzing tactical and operational threat intelligence, such as security reports from vendors, indicators of compromise, peer financial institutions reporting, and government alerts and then acting as a liaison between the fusion operators, various stake holders and the threat intelligence team to add context to security investigations and other tasks.

The role will primarily operate within the various threat intelligence toolsets, and the organizations threat intel platform to validate collections, perform fusion analysis, and produce timely and actionable reporting.

The role will also be driving immediate action by providing products and subsequently coordinating actions to reduce the organizations exposure and risk to emerging threats.

  • Outstanding critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to convey simple or complex information clearly and concisely
  • Exceptional organizational skills and able to perform in a fastpaced environment
  • Experience in information security or cyber security related fields with knowledge in most, if not all, domains
  • Experience with computer information systems, computer science, information systems management or engineering an asset.
  • Experience with a Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) and other Threat Intelligence Toolsets
  • Responsible for the collection, processing, analysis, and dissemination of tactical and operational intelligence alerts throughout the organization
  • Develop, maintain, and execute threat and risk communication processes that advises network defenders
  • Responsible for pushing indicators to security defenses from threat management platform (I.e. Threat intelligence Platform-TIP) and coordinating activity with defensive operators
  • Ability to coordinate activity with defensive operators to protect the organization
  • Exceptional skills in conveying both verbally and written findings to a variety of audiences
  • Prepare and deliver tactical and operational briefings and reports to all levels of an organization
  • General understanding of the threat landscape and advanced persistent threats targeting the financial industry
  • Must be selfmotivated, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to perform with mínimal supervision
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite of tools
  • Knowledge of how to use intelligence analysis software or experience with data science / big data an asset
  • Solid understanding of Network and Security infrastructure, topology including firewalls, routers, wireless access points, DNS, malware, etc preferred
  • Knowledge of cyber threat intelligence processes and tradecraft to include MITRE ATT&CK Framework and the Cyber Kill Chain
