What will you do?

As a Regional Project Manager for the Ontario region, you will oversee multiple projects in the Low voltage power distribution sector, collaborating closely with electrical contractors, distributors, or industrial customers, managing projects ranging from 7 Million CAD to 12 Million CAD. More Specifically, you will:

  • Effectively handle large projects concurrently.
  • Prepare, review, and confirm customer orders/changes to orders.
  • Review customer orders for consistency and completeness with all stakeholders involved, both on the customer side and Siemens' sales or project management organization.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with customers, external contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Initiate sales orders/purchase orders to vendors based on customer requirements.
  • Ensure timely equipment shipment/billing.
  • Collaborate with factory and product/marketing teams to address configurations and technical adjustments.
  • Evaluate and oversee profitability for sales orders in backlog.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 8+ years of successful project management experience.
  • PMP certification is highly advantageous.
  • Education in electrical engineering or technical expertise in the electrical distribution sector
  • Demonstrated ability to drive large projects.
  • Proven Business and Project Management experience in a dynamic setting.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving intricate issues.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is a plus.
  • 10% travel to customer sites within the Ontario region.
