Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor the position performs a variety of sewing functions.

These duties include but are not limited to reading specs, sewing filter bags according to the specification sheets, and examining filter bags to ensure they meet Albarrie quality standards.


Key Requirements

  • Completion of high school, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year experience working within a production environment.
  • Strong Mathematical and calculation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team.
  • Problem solving skills in order to resolve conflicts and problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in order to maintain an excellent rapport with coworkers.
  • Detail oriented and excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
  • Health and Safety conscious to minimize risk of injury from equipment.

Major Responsibilities

  • Transport rolls of fabric from staging area, using lifting devices to the cutting table.
  • Loads and unloads fabric on and off the cutting table using required lifting devices.
  • Review and understand specifications and / or work orders for the industrial cutting table.
  • Measure, layout and cut industrial fabric according to specification sheets provided by the Production Supervisor
  • Produces work orders in accordance to preestablished scheduled, provided by the Production Supervisor.
  • Organize all cut pieces in an efficient manner, to ensure the full order is completed.
  • Monitor waste factors when cutting the fabric and discard the waste under the cu ting table for se on other projects.
  • Maintains complete knowledge of and comply with company and departmental policies procedures and standards.
  • Maintains client and company confidence by keeping information confidential and secure.
  • Maintains a positive working relationship with team members an management in a team environment.
  • Setup and organize individual work area with designated supplies, forms and resource materials while maintaining cleanliness at all times.

$17.00 per hour
