Job Objectives:

  • Drive and monitor a scope of activities and deliverables related to the Configuration and Change Management process.
  • Support the Project / Program Configuration and Change Manager (PrCCM) to keep the project / program under control during the whole project / program life cycle.

Configuration Management responsibilities:

  • Is the facilitator of the Change Boards, monitoring Change requests and related activities.
  • Coordinates and aligns all the project stakeholders regarding the changes.
  • Ensures the activities and Roles & Responsibilities in the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) are applied and followed for all projects
  • Prepares and publishes the Configuration Baselines and/or Target Configuration Releases as planned
  • Ensures that Configuration data is recorded and documented, monitoring its compliance.

Engineering tool integration responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain tools for NAM Services engineering
  • Be the point of contact for all engineering tool issues that arise.
  • Submit and manage KU (Key User) and IT tickets for the NAM Services engineering group.
  • Track and follow up on all tickets and capturing KPI's.
  • Be the interface with Metiers / Functions methods & tool network and manage communication through of experts and trainers.

Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Basic knowledge of Configuration & Change Management
  • Basic knowledge in Engineering and/or Industrialization
  • Basic experiences in working in an international environment
  • Knowledge of railway products, systems and components.
  • Ability to communicate with all involved project stakeholders
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Systematic, rigorous, proactive and organized
  • Proposes continuous improvement on new ideas and ways about methods, processes and standards in order to achieve or improve performance objectives.
  • Is a team worker and sets a good environment for team colleagues.
  • Able to manage simultaneously curative & structuring activities
  • Able to deal with functional distant networks
  • Proactive to anticipate on Risks & Opportunities

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of configuration & change processes and related processes of contributing Métiers/ / Functions
  • 13 years of experience in configuration and change management role/engineering role
    (depending on assignment)

Educational Qualifications and Requirements:

Mandatory:

  • From Bachelor's degree to Graduate of University degree in any of Engineering/Project Management/Business Management or equivalent
  • Fluent English & French language skills

Desirable:

  • CMII certificate
  • Catia V5, E3, FileMaker Pro
  • SVN, GitLab, ClearCase
  • Jira/Confluence
  • Continuous integration
