This position will provide project management effective support and drive the design, facilitation, implementation and evaluation of Food and Nutrition Services based projects and initiatives that level up to accomplish the strategic goals of St.

Joseph's Health Care by leveraging LEAN principles and utilizing CQI tools.


Under the direction of Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) leadership, the Process Improvement Specialist will develop project charters utilizing SMART goals, gather data, support analysis and drive workflow and process redesign.

Utilizing standardized project management tracking tools, the Process Improvement Specialist will support the stakeholders and project group participants to meet deadlines and achieve milestones, identifying any potential delays or timeline issues to FNS leadership.

The Process Improvement Specialist will liaise with the CQI team to further their knowledge of change management processes and utilize the tools that CQI provides

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutritional Sciences or equivalent
  • Advanced knowledge of CBORD software system
  • Membership with CSNM or Registered Dietitian with college of dietitian's membership required
  • Demonstrated intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple timelines, and activities effectively
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively through oral presentations, written reports and presentations
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Highly developed organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and with timelines
  • Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA

Preferred Qualifications

  • LEAN Six Sigma certification
  • Project Management certification
  • 3 years managing projects and Food and Nutrition Services experience
  • 2 years advanced CBORD experience
  • Proficiency in French would be an asset

Teaching and Research

  • St Joseph's Health Care London through its affiliation with Western University and Fanshawe College is a leading research and teaching hospital. Immunization Requirements

  • Provide documentation you have received two doses of the Covid19 vaccine and a written commitment to follow any future Public Health recommendations and St. Joseph's Health Care London policies and processes related to Covid management in the workplace.
  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox)
  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
