Director of Patient Centre of Excellence

The role of the Director of Patient Centre of Excellence will be responsible for setting the strategy and direction of the Patient Centre of Excellence (PCoE) and leading the PCoE team to deliver on those goals and objectives. This role is accountable for managing and supporting the assessment of organizational needs, PCoE capability development, as well as the design, implementation and evaluation of industry leading patient-centric services and support programs for all AstraZeneca brands/therapeutic areas in Canada. Additionally this role is accountable for harnessing the power of patient data from Canadian PSPs to facilitate cross-functional decision-making, shape strategic imperatives, and optimize patient journeys.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the coaching and development of team members, including coaching managers of others. Provides strategic guidance to Canadian Executive team members on PCoE opportunities and patient centric objectives aligned to unmet needs and AZ's strategic direction Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders and leverages insights to optimize and evolve the PCoE structure and operations to improve patient and HCP-centricity Leads the team through the design, development and implementation of programs and services, as well as PCoE capabilities and platforms to meet PCoE goals Works with Global counterparts to ensure best-in-class offerings and services; continually works to optimize and improve the patient and HCP experience Elevates operational excellence through governance standardization, process improvement, PSP data analytics, and the integration of technology solutions Drives short- and long-term planning for PSP, prepare budgetary and resource recommendations that meet functional goals Leads the patient data analytics team and acts as the data owner of patient data sets ensuring governance meets the highest standards Ensures all programs meet the organization's legal, regulatory, and compliance standardsQualifications:
University degree in Science, Quantitative studies or Business, MBA or a Master's degree is an asset Significant experience within the Canadian Patient Support Program landscape is required Proven experience working in a large matrixed organization Superior verbal and written communication skills; Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset Excellent leadership skills; empowers others and can positively build and develop teams Deep understanding of cross-functionality in patient-centric approach Excellent presentation and facilitator skills, expert influencing skills Have experience of healthcare data, platforms and applications; strong quantitative skills Ability to design and implement SOPs to safeguard patient data/insights and privacy Demonstrated experience of building/leading Centres of Excellence and/or organizational development is an assetAbout AstraZeneca Canada:
