Position Summary

Cambrian College's Planning and Institutional Research department requires a full-time Manager, Accreditation.

Duties and Responsibilities

Working closely with the Dean of Planning, Institutional Research and Quality, the Manager, Accreditations duties will include:

Lead and manage the accreditation process, ensuring compliance with institutional and specialized accreditation standards Draft accreditation submission ensuring that all required elements are ready for submission Collaborate with faculty, support staff and administrators to ensure accurate program details are documented Coordinate the preparation of substantive and non-substantive changes, the self-study evaluation, and renewal cycles, including evidence of compliance with all standards, site visits and required follow up reports Initiate, document, track and monitor accreditations ensuring timely high-quality submissions as required by accrediting bodies, ministry and other external stakeholders Facilitate training and workshops for faculty and staff on accreditation processes, standards, and best practices, as required. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes (including attending accrediting agencies, conferences, workshops etc.) in accreditation standards and regulations, advising the institution on necessary adjustments Participate in Department planning, programming and priority setting in relation to accreditations Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean of Planning, Institutional Research and Quality

Qualifications

Must have a minimum of a four (4)-Year Degree in Education, Curriculum Design, Development, Quality Assurance, Project Management or related field. ( A copy of educational documents must be submitted with the application *** education completed outside of Canada, applicants are required to submit a WES or ICAS with their application). Minimum of three years' experience in higher education administration, with a significant focus on accreditation and academic quality assurance in document management following quality assurance principles. Excellent communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of project management and team leadership with the ability to track and advance several projects at once, and to maintain multiple sources of information and data. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong initiative, organization, and time management skills.
