Your primary focus will be on network IT asset data, making sure it's maintained and providing quality assurance for the IT asset inventory.
You'll also work with relevant teams and stakeholders to ensure they adopt industry best practices for IT asset management, all in line with the bank's enterprise policies and controls.
Who You'll Be Working WithYou'll join the Operations Service Governance team within the Infrastructure Operations and Network Engineering organization as an ITAM Governance Subject Matter Expert (SME).What You'll DoCollaborate with stakeholders, including executives, using a consultative approach to provide relevant governance updates, raise issues, and seek support as needed.
Proactively contribute to governance initiatives by offering technical and controls advice, as well as insights on assurance processes.Analyze and interpret current controls against actual processes and practices, identify gaps, and lead remediation efforts.
Monitor and report on control effectiveness, risk, and performance management for both internal and third-party controls, coordinating with relevant teams.
Develop, customize, or revise processes, tools, and templates to manage and govern in-scope controls, outsourcing relationships, and related processes.How You'll SucceedITAM Expertise and Governance:
Possess a strong understanding of ITAM practices and related governance. Act as an ITAM SME for network assets and collaborate with the ITAM program to achieve its goals. Share knowledge, collaborate, and problem-solve effectively with other team members.
Technology/Regulatory/Third-Party Controls & Risk:
Have a good understanding of network hardware and software, with a broader understanding of technology standards and processes. Be a subject matter expert in ITAM governance with a focus on risk and controls.
Manage audit expectations, review/gain assurance, and provide opinions on statutory/regulatory controls and obligations, leading continuous improvement of control health and the bank's Technology Operation's risk posture.
Governance & Oversight:
Support leadership in implementing effective governance strategies to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards. Work closely with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain robust control frameworks.
Data Analysis:
Demonstrate strong data analysis and understanding skills, along with expertise in gap analysis
Communication Management:
Possess strong presentation and storytelling skills, tailoring communication to audiences that include technology and risk executives and subject matter experts
Leading & Mentoring:
Provide subject matter expertise for end-to-end controls implementation. Offer guidance to a diverse team of technology, controls, and risk professionals. Foster a collaborative work environment and support team members in resolving organizational, operational, and process challenges.
Who You AreYou have 3-4 years of experience in the following areas:ITAM experience in large enterprise environments with practical knowledge of IT asset management decisions, applications, and implementation.
Network-specific ITAM experience is a plus.Experience managing the IT asset lifecycle in an enterprise corporation, financial organization, or healthcare provider.
Familiarity with ServiceNow Hardware and Software Asset Management capabilities (HAM/SAM Pro) and configurations.
Participation in developing and implementing ITAM Continual Service Improvement (CSI) opportunities.
Assessing and remediating ITAM issues as mandated by regulatory examinations and planned mitigation activities.
Experience with ITAM process design and industry/regulatory frameworks for ITAM.Experience in developing advanced reporting capabilities for ITAM processes, cybersecurity frameworks, KPIs, and operational/performance metrics.
Prior ITIL/IAITAM/ISACA certification is a plus.
