Who You'll be Joining:

Our Marketing Strategy team is looking for a Director, Product Marketing to grow our Home Monitoring business. Working directly with the home monitoring devices & services product teams, our sales channels, and the broader marketing team, you'll lead a small team that focuses on driving business results while thinking creatively about the future of our ecobee Smart Security business. You alongside the product management and financial teams will drive the business forward, set strategy, manage the P&L and lead the decisions to take a small but growing business to the next level.

This is a Hybrid role working out of our Downtown Toronto Office.

How You'll Make an Impact:

Own the P&L within the Home Security business unit and, working cross-functionally, identify and execute opportunities to drive revenue, market share and profitabilityDevelop business plans and lead ROI analysis for new hardware or service components and lead the go-to-market strategy and support executionLeverage knowledge of the economy, market, competitive landscape, customer, sales channel insights and best practices to deliver pricing, and positioning strategies, and inform home monitoring multi-year strategy and roadmap; collaborate with the product team on feature development and prioritization that drives favorable customer outcomesAs a key member of the home security leadership team, you will set quarterly objectives and key results, inform budget and long-range planning for the business line and lead and facilitate discussions with senior management on results, plans and strategy.Lead and develop a small focused team that is expected to grow with the business

What You'll Bring to the Table:

You have worked as a Director or Senior-level Product Marketer at a world-class company (regardless of its size) You have led cross-functional strategic development with a multi-year horizonYou have led and developed team members directlyYou have interfaced with executive teams to gain alignment on strategic and operational business decisionsYou have experience in most aspects of business including but not limited to sales, marketing, product developmentHands on experience leading GTM (go to market) planning, coordination and execution for new product and services launches as well as ongoing management of existing products and servicesYou are a generalist that can go deep - comfortable analyzing data, business casing opportunities, developing recommendations and gaining buy-in, and creating and communicating marketing strategiesCustomer-first mindset and approach to problem solvingYou have an entrepreneurial mind set, and are excited to jump right inYou have a strong sense of empathy, and enjoy working directly and deepening relationships with cross-functional peersJust so you know: Our hired candidate will be required to provide consent to complete a criminal background check.

Round 1: 30-minute phone call with a member in Talent Acquisition. Round 2: 45-minute interview with the Hiring Manager. Round 3: Team Interview - Meeting with multiple members of our team, each with different focus areas.Final Interview: Case Study - We will share the case study with you in advance. During the interview you'll present to a panel of interviewers.
