In this role, you will:

  • Build project teams by identifying and estimating resource needs, negotiating, and securing crossdepartmental resources. Clearly articulate roles, responsibilities, and expectations for all project team members.
  • Plan and manage all stages of the project life cycle including resource, scope, schedule, change management, communication, training, quality assurance, deployment, sustainment, and contingency planning.
  • Lead all aspects of project financial management including planning, estimating, monitoring, forecasting, reporting and budgets including but not limited to, staffing, professional services, competitive bid processes, contract and vendor management, system implementation, licensing, infrastructure investment.
  • Develop business cases for resource gaps and work with departments to come up with creative solutions to mitigate staffing gaps on the proposed project. Manages and assesses all financial, technical, resource and adoption risks on the project.
  • Develop processes for key deliverables such as project delivery strategy, business requirements, solution design, user acceptance testing project completion, signoffs, and sustainment handoff.

You have:

  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other relevant field. PMP certification is an asset. Experience as an Agile coach is an asset.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a similar position with similar scope.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing project documentation, processes and structures that help to ensure transparency and awareness with respect to project roles and responsibilities, decisions, and escalation.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, and ability to distill complicated technical constraints into business language.
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills to be able to negotiate and work with vendors, consultants, and thirdparty professional service providers.
  • Selfstarter work ethic, with tenacity to see difficult tasks to completion.
