NES Fircroft is currently looking to hire a Contractor Liaison to join our Calgary office.

The Contractor Liaison will play a critical role in the management of the Contractor experience within NES Fircroft – acting as a focal point for contractor queries and issues.

It is anticipated that there will be considerable interface with the sales and payroll teams to support the management of contractors on assignment.

The key purpose of the role is to ensure contractor queries and concerns are addressed timely, with the highest standards of customer service.

Contractor Management

  • Principal contact for core contractors, supporting, advising, and managing their queries from start to finish.
  • Establishes a personal brand, becoming recognized as a reliable industry subject matter expert – developing strong relationships with contractors that promotes retention.
  • Builds and maintains rapport with the contractors throughout the lifecycle of the placement ensuring the most appropriate communication methods are used.
  • Effectively deals with contractor issues escalating to Senior Management where required and always maintaining professionalism.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve the quality of the candidate experience working with the Operations Manager to share ideas and feedback.
  • Regular checkin calls (1st day / week / month / etc. depending on assignment)
  • Data entry / profile maintenance in Bullhorn (CRM)
  • Makes a productive contribution to revenue generation and exceeding minimum standards on activity and results – protecting existing NFI by ensuring that we don't lose any contractors due to poor service, but to exceed NES standards and subsequently win more.
  • Proactively assists consultants by obtaining project information or potential leads from.
  • Maintain a strong grasp of competitor landscape, obtaining information from our contractors regarding our competition (other suppliers) is key to winning business and for us to drive a better overall.
  • Tracks contractor assignment completion dates and ensures steps are taken to extend assignments where applicable. This will include coordination with client contacts, sales team members, assignment support team members and payroll.
  • Managers contractors being offboarded, understanding and recording reasons for leaving so data can be utilized by the business.
  • Strong knowledge of client systems as it relates to paying contractors and how to obtain the required documentation per payroll deadlines.
  • Awareness of business policies and procedures, highlighting any breaches or concerns to Senior Management.
  • Champion the NES Fircroft NPS program and insure follow up is completed within the required 7day time frame.
  • Conduct regular weekly contractor meetings and attend site visits.
Communication

  • Works closely with other support teams, including Sales, Payroll and Benefits to ensure cohesive and efficient communication to contractors.
  • Closely interfaces with Calgary Operations Manager, depending on nature of issue escalating key matters as required.
  • Supports and works with Assignment Support teams to ensure contractor receive relevant paperwork when an assignment is amended or extended.
  • Communicates quickly with contractors when issue arises and sets expectation on timeframes for updates and resolution.

To be considered you need:

  • 2 + Years of previous experience within a Customer Service Role / Contractor Liaison role
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, smart and methodical, demonstrating ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Natural problem solver with ability to use initiative to influence positive outcomes quickly.
  • Outgoing and confident personality with a proven track record in a Customer Service/ Candidate management role.
  • Team player who can also take initiative and work in an autonomous.
  • Good communicator, articulate with strong external presentation skills (written & verbal).
  • Ability to manage confidential or sensitive information.
  • Awareness of, adherence to and compliance with appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Ability and willingness to escalate breaches of policies and procedures.
  • Seeks out information to make informed decisions.
