Responsibilities:
- Supervise employees and contractors working on renewable energy facilities construction.
- Monitor construction quality daily to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and regulations.
- Review Contractor's schedules and progress reports.
- Lead project meetings and maintain meeting minutes.
- Act as a liaison between contractors to resolve issues.
- Assist in review and approval of pay applications and change orders.
- Ensure proper turnover to operations and participate in project close-out activities.
- Provide leadership and training for the on-site team.
- Maintain accurate construction documentation and records.
- Ensure safety and environmental compliance on site.
- Produce daily and KPI reporting.
- Represent Acciona on site during construction.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 2 or 4-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years of construction experience with a focus on power generation or heavy industrial projects.
- Experience in construction supervision, renewable energy background preferred.
- Ability to read and understand project documents.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills and independence.
- Commitment to safety and effective communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Willingness to relocate for project duration.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
- Comfortable with indoor and outdoor work and heights.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
Onboarding in Chicago with relocation to Canada upon completion.
