We are seeking Support Staff for a 1-1 client in a long term care facility in Sutton. The shifts are from 8am-8pm Mondays and Wednesdays.

We are seeking part-time to full-time individuals who can commit to the schedule and pick up extra shifts as needed.

PSWs and DSWs are welcome to apply

Job Benefits:

  • Providing behaviour support and management
  • Providing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support

  • Monitoring care plan and adding documentation with any changes and updates
  • Responding to all emergency situations
  • All other duties, as assigned

Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
  • Completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Satisfactory professional references
  • Previous working experience as a caregiver or PSW is required
  • Behaviour management experience is required**:
  • Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions
  • Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters
