Position Summary

Registered Practical Nurse, Nursing Resource Team


Your role as a **Registered Practical Nurse** within the Nursing Resource Team is to deliver exceptional, patient-centric care with cultural sensitivity and support. Collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, your focus will be on assessing, educating, preventing, maintaining, and restoring patient health. Building strong relationships is one of your strengths, enabling you to connect seamlessly with peers throughout the organization. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the hospital's academic mission by promoting learning, research, and innovative practices. Requirements:

  • Registered Practical Nursing diploma from a recognized Community College
  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Experience in Medicine/General Surgery, Pediatrics, Mental Health, and Emergency care
  • Training/experience in Geriatrics and various specialized care areas
  • Proficiency in English, French bilingualism considered an asset
