About the Role

The Bayshore Specialty Rx Field Nurse Case Manager plays a crucial role as the primary contact for physicians. Collaborating with the Reimbursement Specialist, you will assist patients throughout their journey in the support program. Thriving in a setting that values teamwork and accountability, the Field Nurse Case Manager is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for customers and patients in a dynamic work environment.

This position is remote and welcomes candidates located in the Atlantic Region of Canada, including New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.

A Day in the Life

  • Deliver professional and courteous service to all program stakeholders
  • Assist physicians in patient enrollment, including on-site visits to gather necessary information efficiently and professionally
  • Offer proactive support and advocacy to patients and healthcare providers
  • Visit prescribers in the assigned area to aid with paperwork as needed
  • Review patient charts for completing reimbursement forms accurately
  • Liaise with third-party providers and ensure patient adherence
  • Coordinate patient injection training and communicate with clients for optimal service
  • Build and nurture relationships with healthcare providers through virtual and on-site visits
  • Identify and report Adverse Events following required protocols
  • Engage in continuous education activities and adhere to company policies
  • Contribute to quality and safety initiatives
  • Maintain client confidentiality and follow appropriate procedures

Job Qualification

What You Bring to the Team

  • Completion of a registered Nursing Program with current registration in Canada
  • Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse license
  • Experience in Patient Support Programs and/ or Immunology is an asset
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Fluency in English and French (as required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of drug coverage criteria in Canada
  • Effective critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Accurate data collection and integrity
  • Comfort with a paperless work environment
  • Proven teamwork and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Time management and multitasking abilities
  • Familiarity with patient confidentiality laws
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
  • High-speed internet and a dedicated workspace
  • Willingness to take on additional duties as needed
