Senior Manager, Strategic Deposit Initiatives, GTB

What You'll Do
: Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Business Plans and Strategy Represent the department in matters of portfolio management, deposit pricing and profitability Monitor deposit portfolio level risks and identify cross-portfolio dependencies under competing priorities Relationship management with partners globally, business lines and sales channels to ensure shared value propositions, collaboration and sharing of information Maintain global calendar of key initiatives and is a point of contact for internal partners across the footprint Product/Project Management: Design, Development, Implementation and Promotion Identify and drive activities that focus on enhancing our competitive position, growing the balance sheet, improving revenues, and deepening customer relationships Assess and resolve complex issues and interdependencies (e.g. product, channel, process and product distribution systems) Ensure continuous learning of business trends and developments for applicability to the North American and International markets Business Operation Management, Process Improvement, and Communication Improve the delivery of process and procedures to enhance efficiencies and strategic alignment of the deposit portfolio(s) Create presentations and communications for internal partners, management team and executives to supportdecision making, portfolio management metrics/results, and promote business strategies Support change management for initiatives and operational changes Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. 5+ years of business banking experience in product management or sales role Degree/post graduate degree preferably in Business/Commerce (with specialization in Strategy, Change/Operations/Project Management, Economics, Accounting or Marketing) Strong knowledge of deposit products, processes, and systems development Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiating skillsWork Arrangement:
Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence. Limited travel domestically.#LI-Hybrid
