MORGAN ARBORETUM, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue

Job Summary:


Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent will provide support with communications, customer service, and public relations for members and visitors of the Morgan Arboretum.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Contributor of content on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).Updates Morgan Arboretum's website, ensuring that information is uptodate and accurate.
  • Participates in the organization and delivery of the Arboretum's activities and events offered to members and the community at large.
  • Assists with welcoming visitors and members at entrance of the site and act as cashier when needed.
  • Edits and translates texts in both official languages for various publications and promotional material.
  • Education and Outreach: Supports the development of educational activities to be held on site. Provides information to schools, camps, etc. on the various tours, programs, and activities offered through the year. Assists with training during educational tours, events, and workshops.
  • Maintains and updates database and map of commemorative items. Update plaques as required. Works with the Operations manager to assess their condition and create a maintenance plan to be a guide for field staff.

Other Qualifying Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience working with MS office, InDesign, Illustrator.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.

  • High School Diploma 2 Years Related Experience
  • Hourly Salary:
