On top of being responsible for delivering high quality RTL code for video processing systems, you also have a voice in shaping the products and help deliver our customer building world class media productions infrastructure.

Promote, refine and develop challenging and innovative video processing and transport features in the most integrated hardware platform in the broadcast industry.

Develop RTL for high performance realtime media processing systems involving high bandwidth media interfaces to memory, PCIe or hardware accelerated processing functions such as video scaling or HDR/SDR conversion
Develop high-level design requirements, manage/negotiate key part selection, and support aggressive project scheduling
Assist in supporting other staff members as necessary through entire NPI process flow – including design, documentation, test, manufacturing and customer support
Intermediate - Senior level FPGAdesign knowledge and experience across broad range of topics including:
High speed transceivers, clock domain analysis, & timing closure
Fluent in development languages used in FPGA design – Verilog, System Verilog, TCL scripting
Excellent debugging skills & proficient with typical lab equipment (scopes, JBERTs, network analyzers, WFMs, etc)
Linux, bash, C/C++ and networking skills a plus
Understanding of digital video and associated audio standards a plus
Ability to learn new concepts quickly and work towards finding creative solutions to challenging problems
balancing risks appropriately to optimize success across all business aspects – good, fast, and cheap
Minimum 5 years FPGA & HW development experience with expertise in Video/Audio technologies preferred
