Job Description

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Group Manager, Application Development, the Programmer Analyst will design, write and maintain processes related to applications using different programming languages; develop specific computer and business expertise necessary to provide computerized solutions and maintenance to assigned project/system areas. As a member of the Application Architecture team, the programmer analyst will also manage our Integration tools and assist in our global integration strategy.

What you do:

Code, maintain, test and debug all programs for the concerns subsystems. Provide input for system changes or enhancements, giving primary consideration to the feasibility, maintainability, internal customer needs, and overall cost/benefit and quality requirements. Write all technical documentation related to their programs. Assist with the design and control of the integration strategy for all of RCL's business applications Research new solutions to system architecture and data integration to support the evolving needs of RCL's new and existing applications Assist with defining and enforcing standards for design, development and deployment, including documentation standards, code quality and system performance standards Manage RCL integration tools (configuration, deployment to QA/Prod, operations, monitoring)

Qualifications

Who you are:

University/College degree in computer science (equivalent) 5 years experience working as a developer (a must) Experience with an integration/ETL platform (Informatica or other) Experience with Oracle databases, SQL, PL/SQL Experience with FTP/API integration Experience with Informatica PowerCenter or Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC/IICS) is an asset Experience with Snowflake is an asset Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Bilingual (French/English written and verbal)
