Responsibilities:

  • Learn and evolve as a valued member of a team dedicated to the success of Reliance and its customers.
  • Professionally service HVAC equipment and related items for residential clients.
  • Conduct inspections on various appliances used by residential customers.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Educate customers on the advantages of modern, high-efficiency equipment.
  • Ensure the safe functioning of all new installations and provide customers with proper maintenance instructions.
  • Keep company vehicle clean, safe, and organized.
  • Advocate Reliance Home Comfort products and services during every interaction.

Qualifications:
Above all, we seek individuals who are reliable, driven, and keen on advancing with Reliance.
  • Meet Company's general qualification standards and hold a minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Certified installer or technician.
  • Possess Gas Technician '2' (G2) license and minimum 2 years of HVAC experience.
  • Enrolled in an Apprenticeship program.
  • Accepted by OCOT and compliant with all fees, licenses, and progress timelines.
  • Proficient in HVAC lead generation and CPP enrollments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in technical and customer service skills, along with company performance metrics in current and past positions.
  • Hold a valid full G Driver's License.
  • Capable of advancing through all levels of the apprenticeship promptly.
  • Physically fit to carry out all duties of the position.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Aptitude for understanding and adapting to new technologies (e.g., Electronics, electricity, pressures).
