Payroll Analyst/Specialist
In addition, you will provide support related to audit or reporting requirements. And gain exposure to payroll practices globally.

What you will be doing:

  • Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of semimonthly payroll using ADP WorkforceNow for all Canadian Employees.
  • Verify timekeeping records and support employees and managers with time and attendance records management within the payroll platform.
  • Train employees and managers on use of the time keeping system as needed.
  • Administer contributions and maintain controls on Flexiti's Group RRSP Program, including liasing and working closely with Manulife.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees and managers for questions related to payroll, providing critical and accurate information.
  • Generate and verify payroll & audit reports from various HR systems.
  • Liaise with auditors on quarterly and annually, related to payroll & HRMS audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members in South America, Europe and India to ensure best in class payroll practices are in place for these regions.
  • Coordinate and led initiatives to migrate towards a global payroll infrastructure and system.
  • Maintain and update procedure documents to preserve appropriate level of records as it relates to Flexiti's practices and guidelines.

What you should have:

  • An affinity to numbers and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to be attentive and organized to manage competing priorities within established deadlines
  • A good understanding of audit and fiscal procedures.
  • Deep understanding of payroll laws and regulations with 2+ years administering payroll for a Canadian company
  • Exposure and experience to RRSP administration.
  • Proficiency in using payroll and accounting management tools; preference to ADP WorkforceNow.
  • Strong knowledge of tax and legislation related to payroll.
  • Able to work effectively with mínimal supervision.
  • College diploma or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
