Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Graphic Prepress Operator on a permanent basis.


Are you a highly organized individual passionate about printing and graphics? This role will allow you to develop strong communication skills, and support the Marketing and Communications department through assembling, preparing, maintaining, and transferring files for both printed and digital marketing materials.

This position is a remote opportunity and will be based in Saskatoon, SK.

What you'll do**:

  • You will use Adobe Creative Suite software tools, including InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop and Illustrator, for the layout and assembly of printed materials such as bulletins, business cards, manuals, point of sale material and flyers.
  • You will perform preflighting of pressready files, checking for quality and correctness of colours, fonts and graphics.
  • You will prepare output files for online channels, and prepare and transfer files for offset, digital and web production to outside vendors.
  • You will operate and maintain platemaker and colour printers.
  • Other duties as required.

  • You have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the layout and assembly of printed materials
  • You're familiar with Creative Suite and MacIntosh products
