**Opportunity

  • Carpenter**Reporting directly to the Site Superintendent and Project Manager, as a carpenter with DORA Construction, you will be building communities that make an impact. A vital part of our construction team, DORA Construction is currently looking for likeminded, experienced carpenters with a focus on safety, who are proud to go to work and make a difference each day.

Position Responsibilities
- *Including but not limited to: _

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Assisting supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation.
  • Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.
  • Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials.
  • Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment.
  • Follow compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Build foundations, install floor systems, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Site Superintendent.

Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or a minimum of four years' experience as a journeylevel carpenter.
  • Knowledge of Mathematics

Salary:
$25.00-$35.00 per hour
