Responsibilities

  • Deliver cyber security assessments, strategies and roadmaps through client workshops, reports, technical work, management presentations to a wide range of stakeholders (CIO, CISO, Audit Committee, Board) and the creation of highquality deliverables
  • Provision client services through planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating engagements
  • Facilitate collaboration with client engagement team prior to commencement of client work to discuss roles and responsibilities, risk areas, materiality and deadlines
  • Identify ways to maximize the relationship with clients and deliver added value
  • Maintain high quality control by reviewing work done from other team members for accuracy and completeness; provide feedback to team members
  • Monitor project timelines against targets, adjust where necessary; advise clients of project status
  • Network and take a leadership role in the professional, business and local community while raising awareness of MNP and looking for new business development opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
  • Assist in the development and training of team members

Skills and Experience

  • Possess a post secondary degree in cyber security, computer science or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the cyber security field or IT industry with cyber security roles
  • Knowledge and understanding of IT departments, general IT processes, IT architecture, IT technology and how cyber security impacts these areas
  • Experience consulting in a cyber security capacity, assessing cyber security risk and developing solutions to mitigate risk. Experience auditing cyber security areas would be considered an asset
  • Experience in one more cyber security domain (e.g., network security, vulnerability management, secure software development, cloud security, third party risk management, governance, endpoint security, etc)
  • Understanding of cyber security frameworks such as CIS, NIST CSF and 800 series, and ISO 27001/2. PCI DSS experience is considered an asset
  • Experience with architecting, configuration and delivery of cyber security solutions, processes and controls
  • Security clearance will be required
  • Some travel required
