We partner with our clients to grow their brand and positively impact culture. The Intelligence & Insights (I&I) team is the research, reporting and measurement arm of Citizen Relations. Our team is composed of Analysts & Research professionals dedicated to understanding consumer behaviour and brand performance through a modern earned media lens.

We're looking to hire an Analyst (6-month contract) for our growing Intelligence & Insights team to help uncover audience, category and cultural insights to create breakthrough earned-centric campaigns. This role will be directly responsible for informing marketing and communications decisions for our global clients.

responsibilities:

  • Conduct secondary research on specific audience groups, brands, topics and cultural moments/activities to educate Citizen teams of strategic opportunities for brand planning
  • Build and manage monitoring and reporting deliverables and solutions for Citizen teams and clients
  • Effectively use data visualization to communicate data and insights to inspire and inform teams
  • Support in the development of measurement frameworks for campaigns, in addition to supporting attribution modeling and predictive analytics for marketing success initiatives

requirements:

  • You are analytical and creative with your approach to problem solving
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity, and open to learning new things
  • Must be proficient in Excel
  • Preferable to have experience with social listening (Brandwatch, Talkwalker, etc..) and syndicated research tools (Resonate, MRI-Simmons, etc...)
  • Passionate about understanding consumers and the role brands have to play in their lives
  • Passionate about understanding marketing effectiveness and improving ROI for brands
  • 4 month+ experience inside of advertising/PR/creative agency
  • Natural curiosity and understanding of consumer behaviors, their mindset, needs and wants, which constantly drives you to answer the "why"
