The Integration Specialist will design, develop, and implement software solutions to connect various enterprise business systems within Telesat, ensuring secure seamless data flow and communication.
Responsibilities- Analyzing business requirements.
- Participate in and/or lead, the planning of integration projects.
- Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions within the organization's architectural principles, policies, and guidelines.
- Research and make recommendations on integration products and services.
- Testing and troubleshooting integrations.
- Implement audit, logging, and monitoring solutions of integration systems.
- Provide guidance to other Applications Department members.
- Identify and resolve system integration issues.
- Assist with problem determination and resolution efforts when operational issues with integration solutions arise.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise-level application integration.
- Proven experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems.
- In-depth experience with API protocols
- In-Depth experience with securing integrations
- Direct, hands-on experience with automated integration tools
- Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping and methodology development, and data mapping.
- Knowledge of relational database design and management techniques
- Proven technical project management experience.
- Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
