Job Description:
We are looking for a talented CAD Automation Engineer/Developer to join our software development team at Cerebrum. In this role, you will be instrumental in the creation of a CAD connector for our PLM platform, contributing to a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain CAD connector and automation solutions to optimize processes within our platform, ensuring reliability, integration, and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with software development teams to comprehend project requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging of CAD connector and automation tools to promptly identify and resolve issues.
- Optimize processes to improve performance, productivity, and user experience.
- Document CAD connector and automation workflows to facilitate seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members.
- Engage proactively with stakeholders to gather feedback and requirements, ensuring solutions meet user needs and industry standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proactive CAD Automation Engineer/Developer with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
- Strong collaborative skills with a focus on precision, accuracy, and clear communication.
- Consistent track record of maintaining high standards and continuous improvement.
- Adaptable and resourceful approach to challenges.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
- Proficiency in .Net, C#, and REST API development.
- Familiarity with CAD automation processes and SolidWorks CAD API programming.
- Understanding of Product Structure Architecture.
- Experience with Visual Studio and PDM/PLM Software.
- Basic knowledge of Engineering Standards, creating models and assemblies, and MS Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
