Position Information:


With an operating budget exceeding $1Billion, The Ottawa Hospital is a large, complex organization, one of the largest of its kind in Canada.

This role will support a number of functional programs in the attainment of their financial and operational targets, including performing a variety of analysis and reporting.


Rotation/Shifts:

Days, 8 hours shifts.

Basic Requirements:

  • Undergraduate Diploma in Business and/or Accounting;
  • Professional Accounting designation (CPA/CA/CMA/CGA) or working towards completion of a Professional Accounting Designation, or equivalent experience in a finance environment;
  • Experience in financial planning and analysis in a large, complex environment;
  • Proficient with spreadsheets and reporting tools;
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills;
  • Excellent problem solving skills;
  • Sound judgement and initiative;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Must be eligilbe to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Hyperion Planning & Essbase and Oracle Financial systems;
  • Knowledge of CIHI-MIS guidelines;
