RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre.

Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University.

The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary
This position reports directly to the National Director, CTTP Streams.

General Duties

The national coordinator for CTTP of CRP will evaluate designated institutions current programs in clinical trials & regulatory affairs designated for CRP toward the deployment of CANTRAIN offerings.

The person will oversee operations, planning, implementation of knowledge-based and competency experiential-based e-learning, e-training, adapting and creating when necessary new programs at various levels, and coordinating actions and initiatives to expand programming to personnel, new centers/institutes, and learners.

The national coordinator for CTTP for CRP will work with the designated local institutional clinical research educator (CRE) responsible for the CRP training in that respective research institution.

Education / Experience

Education:
Bachelor's Degree

  • Bachelor's degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experiences,
  • Relevant experience in health sciences or research or trial environment preferred,
  • Experience organizing small or large professional or social in person or virtual events (particularly coordinating logistics, promotion, and communication),
  • Experience with learning management system (LMS) and educational technologybased platforms, adultlearning principles and instructional design are assets,
  • Experience with technology platforms, including Zoom/TEAMS and various thirdparty event software programs (including LMS), Microsoft Office Suite,
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in daytoday operations,
  • Welldeveloped verbal, written, communication skills in both official languages, and interpersonal skills,
  • Disciplined approach to planning and project execution with exceptional attention to accuracy and detail,
  • Proven problemsolving ability in managing concurrent projects under tight deadlines,
  • Ability to take initiative, show resourcefulness, and be attuned to the needs of various groups and individuals,
  • Experience with or interest in tools that facilitate reflection and learning within group settings, large and small, is an asset.

Additional information

Status:
Temporary Full-Time (35-hour workweek), one-year, renewable (the CIHR grant runs until March 2026)

Pay Scale:
$ 47,320 to $ 87, benefits

Flexible, usual from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Work Site:
Open position across Canada, reporting to CANTRAIN central office at the RI-MUHC.
