Are YOU the Next Leader for Laboratory Operations?

As a Manager, Laboratory Operations, you will oversee the day-to-day functioning of the department, ensuring smooth operations at both administrative and technical levels. Your responsibilities include maintaining service and technical excellence, resource management, budget oversight, and staff development. This is a full-time, permanent position with daytime shifts.

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Oversee the scientific and technical aspects of the laboratory
  • Ensure proper methodology and equipment utilization
  • Review quality control measures and suggest improvements as needed
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director and QC Manager when required
  • Handle complex cases and ensure timely processing of reports
  • Develop, update, and communicate department policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance to employees on policy interpretation and implementation
  • Manage department budget and monitor financial performance
  • Supervise inventory and procurement activities
  • Lead recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of staff
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and provide necessary training
  • Create and deliver training programs for department employees

Your Qualifications:

  • Experience in managerial leadership and continuous improvement, preferably in a laboratory setting
  • Knowledge of operational planning, resource allocation, and customer service best practices
  • Degree in Biochemistry or certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist
  • Ability to enhance value streams and process efficiency to meet customer needs
  • 7 to 10 years of managerial experience in a clinical setting
