Agro Delivery Drivers

Our Lacombe Agro Site is looking for casual Seasonal Agro Delivery Drivers to join our team.

Term:
Temporary contract for approximately 7 months.

Casual:
less than 24 hours/week.

Availability requirements:
Weekdays

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner
  • Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and responsible manner
  • Ensure proper and safe use of PPE
  • Keep the yard and warehouse free of obstructions and organized
  • Adhere to company standards, including H&S and loss prevention
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties as required
  • Demonstrate safe and efficient loading and unloading
  • Perform daily vehicle and equipment checks
  • Assist coworkers and Team Leaders as needed
  • Other duties as required by the Manager

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 3 driver's licence with air or a valid Class 1 driver's licence
  • Must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire
  • Knowledge of Central Alberta and surrounding area to successfully navigate is an asset
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Training will be provided onsite
