The Driver-AZ is responsible for completing daily local deliveries of natural stone by following CVOR regulations and safe driving protocol at all times
Work Hours:
Monday – Friday 8am-5pm, and alternating SaturdaysResponsibilities:Responsible for delivering granite, marble and quartz slabs.
Performing local deliveries with multiple stops, and interacting with customers.
In charge of maintaining a legal and accurate log book.
Follow safety procedures in all aspects of the job.
Responsible for reading the Bill of Lading and picking sheets.
In charge of positioning the blocks and ties, straps, chains and binders for cargo securement.
Able to assist in loading, unloading, and securing of cargoGenerate 137lbs of vertical push/pull forceAble to lift and transfer 65lbsAble to carry at least 30lbs the length of the truck bedAble to ascend and descend multiple-rung ladderAble to frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouchAble to work at elevated height of 72" above the ground while assembling and disassembling strap, ties, ratchets, nuts, bolts, and other securing or fastening equipmentAble to work at lowered height of 6" above the ground while assembling and disassembling strap, ties, ratchets, nuts, bolts, and other securing or fastening equipmentPerform various warehouse duties as needed.
Perform additional duties as required and or requested.Requirements:
High School Education preferred.
One (1) year of verifiable driving experience.1yearofverifiabledrivingexperiencewith heavy duty vehicles.
Must be able to pass a skilled test (driving test).Must be able to pass CVOR pre-employment requirements.
Bilingual a plus, but not necessary.
Must possess a Valid Class AZ CDL.Driver abstract and CVOR report required.
