Job Summary

The Driver is responsible for completing daily local deliveries of natural stone by following CVOR regulations and safe driving protocol at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver granite, marble, and quartz slabs to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform local deliveries with multiple stops, interacting with customers and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Maintain a legal and accurate log book, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
  • Follow safety procedures in all aspects of the job, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others.
  • Read and understand Bill of Lading documents, ensuring accurate picking and loading of cargo.
  • Position blocks and secure cargo using ties, straps, chains, and binders, ensuring safe transportation.
  • Assist in loading, unloading, and securing cargo, working collaboratively with the team.
  • Meet physical demands, including generating 137lbs of vertical push/pull force, lifting 65lbs, and carrying 30lbs.
  • Work at elevated heights, assembling and disassembling securing equipment, and at lowered heights, performing similar tasks.
  • Perform various warehouse duties as needed, supporting the team's efforts.
  • Complete additional duties as required and requested, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
  • High School Education preferred, with a focus on relevant coursework or training.
  • One (1) year of verifiable driving experience, with a strong emphasis on heavy-duty vehicles.
  • Must pass a skilled test (driving test) and meet CVOR pre-employment requirements.
  • Bilingual a plus, but not necessary, as MSI values diversity and inclusivity.
  • Must possess a Valid Class AZ CDL, with a clean driving record.
  • Driver abstract and CVOR report required, ensuring a thorough background check.
