About the job:

Modern Veterinary Therapeutics is seeking an Animal Health Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for Alberta BOVINE/EQUINE product lines. May live in any city between Red Deer & Edmonton.

Function:
To develop and maintain a partner relationship with practicing small animal and production animal veterinarians by providing high quality products

Essential functions:

  • Achieve and/or exceed sales and promotional goals as directed by management
  • Effectively develop and manage all veterinary accounts for large animals (pigs/cattle/horses).
  • Effectively manage and build privileged relationships with veterinarians, clinic staff, representatives of purchasing groups and partners working in the assigned territory.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide market data and information regarding competitive products. Submit information about promotions, prices, etc.
  • Work local veterinary tradeshow exhibit booth as requested by management.
  • Present a professional image.
  • Maintain all company property in excellent condition.

Relations and contacts:

Internal:
Weekly contact with assigned personnel regarding sales and marketing issues.

External:
Veterinary hospitals and schools, general veterinarians, producers, stores, feedlots, distributors, etc.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in pharmaceutical sales, preferably in the animal health industry is required. Product training will be provided.

Function:
To develop and maintain a partner relationship with practicing small animal and production animal veterinarians by providing high quality products
