Director of Operations

JOB ROLE

The Nationwide Group (TNG) specializes in creating tailored financial services software for the real estate industry. With a focus on innovation and customization, TNG leverages cutting-edge technology to enhance the mortgage process for consumers, lenders, realtors, and mortgage brokers.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As the Director of Operations, you will work closely with the Senior Director to ensure quality and compliance within the organization. Acting as the bridge between management and executives, you will play a key role in translating corporate vision into operational reality. Your responsibilities will include overseeing various departments such as Client Services, Appraiser Relations, New Business Lines, and Application Support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the executive team to drive strategic decisions across departments.
  • Provide guidance to Operations managers and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Offer support for budgeting, financial analysis, and operational reporting.
  • Implement process improvements and lead new team initiatives.
  • Stay informed about organizational activities to make informed decisions.
  • Provide training and direction to enhance the client experience.
  • Drive business results through performance measurement and corrective actions.
  • Promote innovation and thought leadership in client services.
  • Contribute to product strategy and development.
  • Establish production standards and quality controls.
  • Attend Executive meetings and handle ad hoc projects as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Senior Managers and Managers, overseeing their performance and development.
  • Implement team building and leadership strategies for operations management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of industry experience in business services, mortgage sector, or software services.
  • Relevant post-secondary education, preferably in business.
  • Demonstrated leadership in high-volume customer-centric environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Fluency in French and/or Spanish is a plus.
