Job Opportunity:

EIPS is hiring a full-time Kindergarten to Grade 3 Educational Assistant at Davidson Creek Elementary.

Dedicated to serving approximately 650 students from Kindergarten to Grade 6, Davidson Creek Elementary in Sherwood Park, AB, is committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and accepting community for all.

Key Details:

  • Position: Educational Assistant
  • Hours: 30 per week (Monday to Friday, 6 hours per day)
  • Open to internal and external applicants with priority for permanent employees

Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers with instructional and non-instructional tasks
  • Work as part of the school support team
  • Provide routine instructional support to students
  • Follow individually prescribed learning programs
  • Offer personal care and assistance based on student needs

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Educational Assistant Certificate or similar
  • First Aid certificate
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training
  • Related experience preferred
