NOTE:
This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manage network infrastructure, including switches, APs, security cameras, and firewalls.
  • Manage our endpoint security software and DNSlayer security software.
  • Collaborate with our Security Governance team to manage our SIEM and investigate security incidents.
  • Manage our remote access VPN software and its configurations.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues for optimal functionality.
  • Implement and monitor security measures and practices to keep our network secure.
  • Respond to network incidents promptly and provide technical support.
  • Maintain and create documentation of network infrastructure and processes.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and provide expertise on network topics.
  • Plan for network growth and evaluate new technologies.
  • Work with vendors to facilitate new networking and security hardware and software purchases and renewals.
  • Provide auxiliary support to SysAdmin workloads as time permits.
  • Perform after hour upgrades and maintenance as needed.

What You Should Already Have:

  • Degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience as a Network Administrator.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols: BGP, VLAN, NAT, LACP, DNS, DHCP, SitetoSite VPN.
  • Experience working with AWS services: VPC, EC2, Route53, Resource Access Manager, Transit Gateway.
  • Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco switches.
  • Proficiency in security practices and monitoring tools.
  • Problemsolving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, PCNSA are a plus.
