Dilawri Group in Ontario is looking for a Network Analyst to join our National IT Team based in British Columbia .

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Network & Security, this role will attend remote/on-site for all maintenance, repair, replacement, upgrades, configurations, testing, training, and support for the following areas related to Network & Security.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge of complex systems, including network, servers, and workstations.
  • Support network engineers with troubleshooting and configuration.
  • Implement, maintain, and support network and security systems, including firewalls, routers, switches, and access points.
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot VPN and remote access solutions.
  • Conduct network capacity planning to ensure optimal network performance, including capacity planning, sizing, and forecasting.
  • Monitor, maintain, and repair network devices.
  • Maintain and monitor network services, including DHCP, DNS, and WINS
  • Setting up LAN and WAN networks, as well as Voice Over IP and VTC devices.
  • Managing IP addresses and resolving conflicts.
  • Monitoring and maintaining network servers and performing upgrades.
  • Monitor and collaborate with ISPs to ensure proper connectivity speeds and uptime to all locations.
  • Performing system administration tasks and ensuring network security.
  • Implementing and maintaining network security measures.
  • Documenting processes and monitoring network performance metrics.
  • Consulting with internal departments and training IT support staff.
  • Keeping up with advancements in network technologies and solutions.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
  • Creativity and problem-solving
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve common goals
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership of problems with a positive attitude and bring them to completion
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under all circumstances to deliver exceptional service to customers
  • Organizational ability and attention to detail
  • Exceptional ability to provide network support and resolve errors.
  • University Degree or College Diploma in IT field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years' experience as a network analyst, systems analyst
  • Knowledge of Windows network operating systems, protocols, and procedures
  • Experience with all Meraki hardware setup and configurations via dashboard.
  • Expertise in developing and maintaining network documentation.
  • Dealership experience or knowledge is a plus
