Position Overview:_
ACQBUILT is seeking a Mobile Crane Operator to work in and around the Edmonton Area.
As a member of the Logistics Department, the Mobile Crane Operator is accountable and responsible for the safe operation of a mobile crane.
He/she operates the mobile crane in a safe manner to move and hoist large equipment or material-
Core Duties and Responsibilities:_
- Drive and operate mobile cranes.
- Care for and maintain equipment.
- Maintain a legal Driver's logbook.
- Proper, legal load securement.
- Complete pre and post trip inspections and correct or report all defects immediately.
- Perform minor repairs.
- Adhere to all safety standards in the work place.
Requirements:_
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Mobile Crane Journeyman ticket, will consider 3rd and 4th year apprentices
- Valid Class 1 Driver's license.
- Good communication skills.
- Team work oriented the ability to work with ground crews.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Problem solving skills.
- Construction knowledge and experience is an asset.
Job Types:
Full-time, Apprenticeship
Salary:
$35.00-$40.00 per hour
