Role Summary

The Marketing Programs Team Lead is responsible for leading and managing marketing initiatives including the delivery of corporate marketing projects.

In this role, you will be working with the Product Development, Sales, Digital Marketing and Supply Chain Teams to ensure Customer satisfaction and brand engagement.

The Marketing Programs Team Lead will also be prioritizing marketing initiatives and resources and ensuring all marketing efforts support Eminence's overall strategy and goals.

You will be reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Marketing Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve Project Plans and/or Creative Briefs for marketing programs and projects
  • Responsible for the GotoMarket strategy, including marketing collateral and key messaging for corporate marketing projects
  • Assign a Project Manager to each project and work with the Marketing Project Coordinator(s) to assign tasks for adhoc requests
  • Manage one or more marketing projects and their deliverables with the support of the Marketing Project Coordinator when required
  • Signoff on marketing deliverables for marketing programs and projects
  • Prepare a business case and/or Project Brief for any new projects that require the approval of Division Leaders
  • Drive and participate in project meetings as necessary
  • Provide direction and decisionmaking based on knowledge of implications or impact on other current or future organizational initiatives
  • Ensure the use of brand assets and the adherence to brand standards, and ensure consistency of brand tone and voice
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure key messages are consistent across company deliverables
  • Work with the Digital Content Manager and the Digital Experience Team to monitor and manage the digital lifecycle of marketing content on the Eminence website
  • Maintain an active Marketing Projects Dashboard and monitor the overall activities within the Marketing Programs team
  • Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are created and maintained for functional tasks within Marketing
  • Assist in the attraction and selection of new Marketing Teammembers
  • Prepare and conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports

Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Marketing or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing Operations
  • 3+ years of experience managing teams
  • Up to date with the latest marketing trends and best practices
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and systems implementation
  • Experience in merchandising and planogram an asset
  • Experience working in brand management/governance an asset
  • Experience in the Spa and/or Health & Beauty industry an asset
  • Experience in Product Launch Management (conception through to SKU Rationalization) with consumer package goods an asset
  • Exceptional communication, project management, time management, attention to detail, and problemsolving skills
  • Computer skills (especially MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and intermediate to advanced Excel)
