As a Machine Operator you are a critical member of the production team, ensuring superior quality is achieved.

You would be dedicated to any of our rope manufacturing machines in departments such as twisting, winding, stranding, or braiding while ensuring all specifications are met.


Primary responsibilities

  • Review work orders/jobs with production manager.
  • Setup, run and fulfill the work order on the appropriate machine.
  • Review finished work order with production manager.
  • Work closely with all divisions to ensure communication and continued flow of work order.
  • Follow, with great attention to detail, the work order to ensure accuracy.
  • Flag issues with work order or materials to production manager at first sight.
  • Communicate production related ideas and concerns to production managers promptly. As well, communicate closely with upstream and downstream employees about job specifics that may impact them.
  • Follow ISO and Quality Management procedures.

Qualifications

  • High School and/or Post-Secondary education an asset.
  • 2+ years operating production machinery an asset.
  • Enjoys working in a team environment.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Loves to learn.
  • Fluently bilingual and asset.
