Job Summary


Polyga's 3D scanners use an innovative software stack including embedded processing, traditional desktop applications as well as a modern web technology to create high-resolution 3D scans and convert them into useful information for a variety of industrial applications.


The candidate will work as part of our software development team to develop new 3D scanning applications and contribute to state of the art geometry processing technology.

This position requires a wide gamut of skills from UI/UX, and core application development to low-level embedded firmware development.


The developer must be highly proficient and comfortable in C/C++ software development using Visual Studio and GIT to create embedded and desktop Windows applications.

We're looking for someone who has an eye for detail and a passion for developing robust and high-performance C++ code.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the systems and tools to enable the operation of 3D Scanners and 3D scanning software.
  • Handle the entire software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to customer deployment
  • Produce highquality, efficient, clean, and modular C/C++ code
  • Design and create intuitive user workflows for a professional 3D software package
  • Perform profiling and performance tuning of code and systems to remove bottlenecks.
  • Develop and implement computer vision and 3D algorithms
  • Write C++ code on a variety of platforms and compilers including embedded, web and desktop
  • Be a knowledge expert of Polyga's hardware and software
Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • 2+ years of working with Visual Studio and worked in production quality, professional applications primarily written in C/C++
  • Have experience with largescale applications development
  • Have a deep understanding of software architecture and C/C++ engineering challenges
  • Work as part of a multifaceted software team
  • Familiarity with 3D engines or 3D graphics libraries such as OpenGL or DirectX
  • Experience working with 3rd party libraries/APIs and how to integrate them into projects
  • Comfortable working with different revision control systems
You should have one of the following areas of expertise. 2D/3D algorithms, computer vision, embedded development, 3D rendering or computational geometry.
