Select People Solutions is pleased to be working with our investment and insurance client in Lethbridge as they search for a positive and professional Financial Administrative Assistant. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented individuals who play a crucial role in supporting financial operations. Compensation & Hours:
  • The rate of pay will be $40,000 annually
  • Office Hours Monday – Friday
Position Summary:
  • Prepare documentation and process transactions as directed by the advisors
  • Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of new accounts, communicating with advisors
  • Deliver a high level of personalized customer service by responding to client and head office inquiries and requests in a timely manner
  • Track the progress of account openings, trades, transfers, and various account maintenance
  • Ensure timely completion of client applications and back-office processes
  • Communicate with advisors, clients, and head office both verbally and in writing to ensure processes run smoothly
  • Provide coverage at the reception desk and administrative duties as requested
Required Qualifications:
  • 1+ year experience in an administrative role, preferably within the financial services industry
  • Strong aptitude working with numbers and data, including the ability to organize, enter, and process
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Satisfactory credit & criminal record check are required
  • Must have completed or be willing to complete an accredited Mutual fund course such as IFIC, CIFC, or equivalent
Bonus Points For:
  • Valid Mutual Fund License preferred
  • Post Secondary Education in Finance or equivalent
