Under the responsibility of the Maintenance Manager, theis responsible for performing repairs and conducting preventative maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic systems.

It also includes adjusting and maintaining new and existing production equipment, ensuring the function of all production lines, and being responsible for the safe operation of plant refrigeration systems.

Test repaired equipment or components
Carry out the mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic inspection of equipment
Participate in the improvement of the preventive maintenance program for equipment
Install, align, disassemble, and move stationary industrial machinery or mechanical equipment (pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, etc.)
Responsible for safe operation plant refrigeration systems
Responsible for maintaining plant refrigeration system logbooks
Work with contractors as needed
Comply with OHS policies and procedures, good manufacturing practices, and HACCP
Red Seal Industrial Electrician Certification
~Automation and PLC experience is an asset
~ Welding skills (TIG, MIG and stainless steel) is an asset
~ Ability to work in tight spaces, above ceilings, on ladders, on scaffolding, and on aerial work platforms
~ Mastery of spoken and written English
~ Knowledge of HACCP standards is an asset
