POSITION SUMMARY:


Reporting to the Superintendent, the incumbent will be responsible for planning, directing, controlling, and evaluating the activities of the IT department, and acting as a consultant, helping senior management and departments to manage IT systems strategically and operationally.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS WILL BE:
Develop and maintain the IT department's operational and strategic plan, overseeing all activities;

Manage personnel, including hiring, development, supervision, performance evaluation, and absenteeism;

Identify IT needs and recommend resource allocation;

Oversee the Board's IT infrastructure to meet current and future data, equipment, and network requirements;

Implement procedures, standards, and policies for efficient data processing services;

Provide strategic direction for IT infrastructure planning to meet the evolving needs in an organizational context;

Act as a resource person for users;

Analyze and develop the organization's applications;

Assume responsibility for data management and programming;

Support the organization in the use of new technologies in the workplace;

Manage computer security systems;

Perform any other related tasks.

THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE:
Bachelor's degree in administration with a specialization in information technology or a related field;

4 to 7 years of relevant experience;

Experience in project and personnel management;

Knowledge of application development;

Advanced mastery of Google Suite, including Gmail and Drive;

Strong interest in the latest trends in digital transformation and new technologies, and their application to organizational development and support;

Good knowledge of spoken and written French and English.
